Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Codexx Private Limited ("Codexx", "we") collects through codexx.com.np, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075 and the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063, and the main principles of the EU and UK GDPR for visitors from those regions.

Who we are

Codexx Private Limited is a company registered in Nepal, with its registered office at Gairigaun-9, Kathmandu, Nepal. You can contact us about privacy at hello@codexx.com.np.

What we collect

  • Contact form details: your name, email address, company, the service you are interested in, your budget range and your message.
  • Job applications: the CV, links and message you email to us.
  • Emails you send us and our replies.
  • Basic technical data from our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept in server logs for security.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly tool that does not set cookies, and update this page first.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals (our legitimate interest in responding to requests, or steps before a contract).
  • To assess job applications (your consent, which you give by sending your CV).
  • To keep the website secure and working (our legitimate interest).

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we use to run the business, such as our email provider and website hosting (Amazon Web Services). They process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by Nepali law.

International transfers

Our team works from Nepal and Australia, and our providers may store data in other countries. When information moves across borders we use providers with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and related emails: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
  • Client records: as long as needed for the contract and for tax and accounting requirements in Nepal.
  • CVs: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@codexx.com.np and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and CVs is limited to the people who need it, and accounts are protected with two-factor authentication.
